Pipeline cleaning – is the most typical and frequently applied in-line operation. Pipeline operators and services providers use various types of cleaning pigs for performance of different tasks at all stages of pipeline operation and construction, such as pre-commissioning cleaning, routine cleaning, de-waxing, pre-inspection cleaning, removal or separation of product etc.

In general, during operation of hydrocarbon pipelines, deposits of various nature and origin (such as paraffin, black dust, scale etc) tend to accumulate on the pipewall surface and further crystallize. This reduces the effective internal diameter section resulting in increased power consumption of pump/compressor stations required to propel the transported product. Also, in gas pipelines such liquids as condensate and water may accumulate on the bottom of pipeline producing the similar effect. Deposits also can block downstream filters, damage rotating equipment and lead to increased corrosion growth.

In order to address these issues all pipelines are to be regularly cleaned. Moreover, some pipelines may require specific cleaning solutions to deal with specific problems. We, at LINDA, provide wide range of cleaning services to our clients. Our fleet of cleaning tools cover the range of pipeline nominal sizes from 8” to 24”. LINDA’s research and development team will design custom design tools for specific needs if required.

In the most difficult conditions, when the sediments are heavily mineralized, we will apply principles of progressive pigging and run various cleaning pigs subsequently starting from light duty and ending up with heavy duty tools.

We will get your pipeline clean. Always
